I was so delighted to do a mini photo shoot with Miss Emily's new little boy! He is just perfect, with beautiful lips and gorgeous eyes! Congrats to Miss Emily and hubby Jason!
Savanna was pretty nervous getting her senior photos taken...but once she warmed up, I think she had a great time! :) She even got to catch a chicken and hold it in her photos...I joked with her that I was going to submit that one to the yearbook!
Alyssa was awesome...so easy to work with! She loved to just mess around, and didn't even mind that her mom wanted pictures of her playing in the leaves...what a sport! :)
Delores was great to work with...a beautiful smile and flawless skin! I will take it! :) She was a great sport, willing to try new things and new poses...and she didn't even worry about the creepy sounds we were hearing when shooting in the woods! What a girl!
Little Olivia was just a doll! Look at all that dark hair! Cute to boot! Mom wanted our Baby Bits package...so I am thrilled that I will be photographing Olivia for her first year, and hopefully beyond!
We had a great time taking the annual family photos of the Sixel Family! This time we chose the location of Plamann Park in north Appleton. We were lucky to have some beautiful fall colors which showcased this wonderful family!
This is my second year taking photos for The Buttrick Family. What a great family they are! Their kiddos are adorable, and even more importantly have EXCELLENT manners which is something I really look at when photographing families. When I was done, Ben (the 7 year old) said "Thanks for taking my pictures!"...thanks again Buttrick Family! It was a delight!
My name is Heather Hasse. Among many of the titles I wear in my life, I am a wife, mother, and founder of simplytoimpress.com and Simply to Impress Photography.
simplytoimpress.com was created in 2003 when the search was on for creative and innovative designs for personalized invitations and announcements. I was a woman on a mission- I wanted to use photographs to truly capture the moment in life that I was celebrating...whether it was a family holiday, the birth of one of my five children, or a birthday party I was throwing for a friend! I wanted to embrace that moment and capture the memory...and I didn't want to have to pay a fortune in order to get something that unique.
With my love of photography it was only natural that the next step in the company would be to create a photography business with the same values, beliefs, and mission that was the foundation for simplytoimpress.com, thus Simply to Impress Photography was born. As a mother, I wanted to design a photography studio that was going to be a fun experience that would allow both children and parents to relax and enjoy themselves. I wanted to be a photographer that was going to capture the natural moments of children, instead of the posed “fake” smiles that were found elsewhere. I feel that photographs are poetry for the visual arts. Their physical scope is contained within the four edges of a single frame, and within a precise moment in time. But their ability to convey meaning and beauty is immeasurable. This is my inspiration.
I hope you will find that my artistic expression will make your photography session a unique experience that will produce beautiful portraits to be cherished forever. My uncompromising vision bridges the gap that lies between fine art and photography. Soul and grace with style...my passion will be your reward.
